Sunflowers. My love for sunflowers first began at the age of 3ish. I know what you're thinking, how do you know what your favorite flower is when you're three? Young hearts are honest hearts. The first picture professional pictures i took made me realize the specialness and just attractiveness of the flower of the sun. (: My favorite color isn't even yellow.(It's red for those of you who don't know, ftw.) Ayywayy, lets go into a *FLASH BACK*:
When I was little my parents wanted to get professional pictures done. It was whatever, ya know. I love taking pictures so there wasn't really a problem with it. But you know how in walmart they have those posters of the little kids getting photography done? Well, I saw the outfit that the little girl was wearing and I WANTED IT. So of course, me being a daddy's girl, I got what I wanted. It was a cute little dress with sunflowers on it, some black patent leather baby doll shoes, an this huge straw hat with a HUMONGOUS sunflower on the front. It was beautiful. Those were the best pictures I've ever taken in my life. *End Flashback*
Even still flowers are able to make me smile, and I look to them for hope. Fun Fact: Sunflowers turn to follow the sun. Their purpose is to:
"symbolize the sun itself, conveying warmth and happiness, adoration and longevity. "
Sunflowers are so beautiful. They'll always be my favorite. And Devon likes them too. (:

What Little Boys Are Made Of: Frogs, Snails, And Puppydog Tails.

Mackenzie Austin Blount. Twin Vampire Closet Monster. Babycakes.
You're always there. Your biggest fear for me, seeing my heart shattered into a million pieces. Number one objective, having me stay away from any boy that could potentially hurt me. Hmph, not my FAVORITE RULE. MackBabe, you're one of my absolute best friends there's no doubt about that and its apparent to all...and I couldnt even call you my brother...that's not close enough for me. You're my soulmate. I can always talk to you, just to feel better...I can always come get a giant hug from you and expect to be lifted off the ground by your super muscles and such. We can serenade anyone with our super fantasmical singing/guitar duo going or we can just jam out in your living room. (: you're the only one who can give me constructive criticism, that i'll take lol. Your scruff makes me smile. [: SweetCheeks loves you<3

Smosh + I Set My Friends On Fire = Sex Ed Video?
A good friend of mine decided that I should be quite a bit more educated about sex ed and such, so he showed me this video. Thanks a ton Mack. (: It's hilarious, especially if you like screamo. The lyrics are on the bottom of the screen due to misunderstood screams. Enjoy!

The Alpha Of My Omega
I've been finding myself at a standstill with my writing and decided to change the way i saw the world. That didn't quite work out for me as well as i thought it would, so i changed my decision to putting things right in front of me that would force my outlook to change. That would force me to see the world as several separate different colors instead of just the ones that jump out at me. Which is why i decided to use this photo. It goes nameless, it's a photo bucket image from the color splash albums made by some average Joe or Joe-Ann with some average 2009 technology. But look at it. Just take less than a minute (which you probably already have) and look. Not only look but observe ALL of the colors. When i first saw this photo i just thought it was really pretty and something cute to look at. But when you really sit and observe it you'll notice that it's a little eye-opening. When you see a tree, do you ever notice that it's actually that green and healthy until you put all the other colors on hold? Have you ever noticed that random blue car, that is in actuality, the bluest of blues but looks dull since all of the other colors are there to downgrade its beautiful
potential? There's an entire spectrum of color out there that NOBODY knows about. I guess that can change a perspective if you think about it? If you're not really catching on, I guess you can read this book. It's called "The Book Thief" as you can see. And the entire prologue is about the colors and how each and every single one happens to matter in this huge unnecessary world. Just check it out:"First the colors. Then the humans. That's usually how I see things. Or at least, how I try."
" I do, however, try to enjoy every color I see--the whole spectrum. A billion or so flavors, none of them quite the same, and a sky to slowly suck on. It takes the edge off the stress. It helps me relax."
Markus Zusak is a genius. Just by some of the things he said in his very introduction to The Book Thief captured everything I wanted to say about the simplicity that color splash captures. You can read the entire introduction RIGHT HERE. And if at all possible, make an investment at borders and buy the book. It's life-changing, but that's for another blog.
